BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic, stable pentadecapeptide derived from a sequence found in gastric proteins. It is one of the most widely studied compounds in tissue-repair research, investigated in laboratory models for its role in angiogenesis, connective-tissue signalling and the nitric-oxide pathway.
In the research literature it is often studied alongside TB-500 (thymosin beta-4), the two forming the well-known repair-research pair. Supplied as a lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder for reconstitution in the laboratory.
